Lee is currently our Secretary & Treasurer.
Lee worked for over 30 years with the Bell telephone system in many different capacities in North Carolina, Florida, North Dakota, New Jersey, and Alabama. Kay was a Christian school teacher for over 20 years and has always been involved in church music ministry, usually as church organist. Lee was able to retire early in 1999 while they were living in Trussville, AL. We became involved with the BBF Builders after hearing of their work at our church, Mountain View Baptist Church, Dr. Mike Rouse, Pastor. Brent Anderson met with us and told us about the Builder's ministry. He told us they were looking for volunteers with RVs who could help in this church building ministry. Shortly thereafter, Lee went to a job in Brandon, MS, and was hooked as a Builder. Since that time, we have been able to work on several different projects from Louisiana to Ohio. We knew the basics about construction and have learned a lot since starting with the Builders. There are more building opportunities than can be met. More volunteers are always needed.
