Gerry and I have lived in Springfield, Missouri all of our lives. We have two children and three wonderful grandchildren. I worked for 20 years with AFLAC then, in 1988, we took over B. L. McPherson Pest Control after my father-in-law passed away.
We have been members of a Fellowship church since 1968. In 1991 we joined Hillside Baptist Church where Rev. Cecil Tolbert is our Pastor. I am currently a Deacon, and Gerry works in the food ministry.
Hillside Baptist Church was the first church to support BUILDER Missionary Ron Trosclair. In 2009, on a visit to Springfield, Ron asked us to help on a project in Galveston, TX. After that, the Lord convicted us to be a part of this great ministry. We have been blessed to be involved with the BUILDERS on several other projects. We have enjoyed the fellowship of several churches and Pastors through our association with the BUILDERS.
The BBFI and the BUILDERS need more full time BUILDERS and part-time volunteers for the various projects in our future. We look forward to working on many more projects with the BUILDERS before the Lord calls us home.
